Since the return of sunny days, Inframax’s commercial solar installation of 258kWp in Sunrise Park, Cape Town is showing promise of cutting its electricity bill by about 53%. The system is yielding average monthly savings from solar of about R55 848 and further savings from exporting to the grid of R9 193 per month, total savings approximately R65 196 per month.
Inframax Investments (Pty) Ltd, a property investment company that owns and manages several properties in and around greater Cape Town, commissioned AWPower to design and install several solar power systems for its Cape Town buildings, the first major installation being Kenridge Centre where a 156kWp system was installed in March 2020.

Here’s what was installed at Sunrise Park
To meet the energy demands of Sunrise Park, AWPower designed and installed a robust, modular solar system featuring:
- 257.5kWp (398 x 570W Longi PV Panels + 52 x 590W Canadian Solar PV Panels)
- 250kW of Solis Grid-Tied 3-phase Inverters (2 x 110kW & 1 x 30kW inverters)
