As a Nedbank-approved* energy partner, AWPower can now offer its customers even greater value and quicker access to tailored solar energy solutions.

AWPower, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions based in Cape Town, is delighted to announce its selection as an approved residential solar energy solutions provider for MFC, a division of Nedbank Limited.

The partnership with Nedbank is a testament to AWPower’s unwavering commitment to delivering top-quality solar solutions and exceptional service to its valued customers.

Over the past two years, AWPower has grown exponentially, earning a reputation as a trusted and reliable energy solutions provider that is now backed by Nedbank’s solar financing solutions.

AWPower’s Managing Director, Christiaan Hattingh, expressed his enthusiasm about the new collaboration, saying,

“We are thrilled to be an approved Nedbank energy supplier, which allows us to offer our customers even greater value and faster access to tailored solar energy solutions that suit their unique needs. Our team is passionate about delivering a personalised service and designing tailormade systems that prioritise your energy requirements and budget.”

Nedbank, a well-respected financial institution, is dedicated to providing its customers with access to accredited suppliers. Group Managing Executive, Ciko Thomas says,

“Our suppliers have been fully vetted, accredited, and recognised by the highest industry standards. We have all the necessary legal agreements and processes in place to ensure our customers are protected and assured of the highest quality and service standards. We are thrilled to have AWPower onboard and look forward to a successful partnership.”

Ciko further adds,

“Customers have the option of selecting Nedbank solar finance powered by MFC to finance the installations.”

Steps to Secure Financing through MFC and AWPower

Step 1: Contact AWPower for a Needs Analysis
Applicants should complete their details on AWPower’s website so that the team can have a better idea of your requirements.

Step 2: Review the Initial Cost Estimate & Preliminary Design
AWPower design engineers will analyse your requirements and provide you with an Initial Cost Estimate that includes a preliminary design based on an analysis of your needs. The AWPower team will help you assess your energy usage and requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of your investment.

Step 3: Apply for Finance directly from MFC
Once you received the Initial Cost Estimate from AWPower, you can check your monthly instalment by using the MFC solar calculator. Once you are happy, you can apply for finance online with MFC. With various flexible financing options of up to 72 months, Nedbank Solar Finance makes solar energy affordable and accessible to all – not just for Nedbank customers.

Step 4: Engineering Design, Site Visit & Installation
Once your finance is approved by MFC, AWPower engineers will arrange for a site visit, design your customised solar solution and provide you with an Engineering Design and Tax Invoice that will be submitted to MFC. Following this, AWPower will swiftly proceed with the installation of your solar energy solution. The entire process, from initial contact with AWPower to installation, can typically be completed within three to six weeks, depending on stock availability.

“We are excited to embark on this journey with Nedbank and MFC, bringing you cutting-edge renewable energy solutions that enhance your life and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future,”

concludes Hattingh.
