Grid-tied Solar PV
A grid-tied connection can provide the additional energy that you need during times of little to no solar PV generation (e.g.rainy weather/night) while providing grid-independence.
The sweet spot is reducing your reliance on the grid as much as possible, while still having it as a backup.
The solution is to maximise your battery and roof-mounted solar PV based on budget, building and local municipal limits to create a battery-tied system with a hybrid inverter at its heart.
Off-Grid Solar PV
Loadshedding has been affecting South African households and businesses for nearly two decades, leaving countless people in the dark, and taking a massive toll on companies. With loadshedding on the rise and very little hope of it ending any time soon, going completely off-grid is becoming an increasingly attractive notion.
Loadshedding, however, isn’t the only reason to consider going off-grid though. In fact, these solutions are often best suited to those with little to no reliable grid connection, who are looking to provide their own, reliable source of permanent energy, rather than backup energy.

Battery-Tied Solar PV
A battery-tied system, offers the benefit of electricity savings from the solar PV panels, alongside energy security from the batteries, as well as flexibility and support from the grid when needed. A grid-connected solar PV system will also be significantly more affordable compared to going fully off-grid. Loadshedding Battery Backup Solutions
Loadshedding solutions don’t need to involve installing inverters, grid-tied or off-grid solar solutions, especially for those who just want a low-cost battery backup solution that powers Wifi, the TV, one or two laptops and a couple of LED lights for the few hours of loadshedding. Our Battery Backup solutions offer no-nonsense value for money, while our DB- connected loadshedding solutions cover customers who want more energy capabilities during loadshedding.
Electric Vehicle Solar Integration
EVs charged with “dirty” electricity from the South African grid, which is mainly coal-powered, are not as sustainable as you may think. Charging your EV from a solar PV system not only makes the vehicle much more sustainable, it also reduces its running costs substantially.
